They always say that kids say the darnest things. They are right.
Maybe it’s because of the lack of sparkling new toys, or lack of food exciting yummy treats that prompted this conversation in the car, on the way to dinner:
Me (to Nad): We need to withdraw money, darling.
Sunshine: *Turns her head and looks at me in disbelief* OUR money???
Just three or four nights ago, this:
Nad: I love you.
Sunshine: *deadpans* Same.
And then a couple of nights ago:
Me: I love you.
Sunshine: You sure?
Just last night, Nad knocked over a bunch of clothes.
Sunshine: HAIYOH!!!^ You drop!!!!!!
*dramatic pause*
Drop the clothes!!!!!!
*another dramatic pause*
You mess!!!!
Gotta mind our language around here! *Wipes brows*
So, as a parting shot, I shall post some pictures of her in the supermart, riding on a bike and saddling a rocking horse.
Because we don’t have our own money to buy her these. Apparently.

^Haiyoh is a common word used in Singapore. It’s akin to ‘Oh Gosh!’
PS: Since I posted pictures. Are you going to comment?
PPS: I give up on the formatting. Stupid WordPress.

roanne: Yeah, recently more and more people have been saying that!
Lauren and reader: Thank you!
lilpony: Most handmade soaps don’t leave a lingering scent on the body after bath or shower, in my opinion. They smell great on their own but the scent won’t linger when used for some reason. It’s not just mine either. I’ve used handmade soap from other people and it’s the same. Maybe it’s because we only use pure essential oil instead of harsh chemicals?
Most of the friends who receive my soap use them as stash scenters.
Daddy: We love you too!
