It’s finally a little cooler in the mornings to take a picture of me wearing this scarf.
Name of project: Peekaboo MIL Scarf (From Knitscene, Fall 2006)
Yarn: Panda Rustica in white. And some blue ribbons
Needles: Some generic 8mm needles then changed to Knitpicks nickels 8mm
Cast on date: Sometime in December 2007
Cast off date: 22 December 2008 (Hibernated for a year!)
Learned: Nothing.
Modifications: Hmm, none.
Mistakes: None.
Sunshine looks miserable and I don’t blame her. It’s summer and I suspect wrapping a scarf around her may be considered child abuse. *Mutters at the heat*……….
The scarf is about 1.5 meters long. I knitted this for my Mum in law who said she likes scarves.
I would have taken better photos but I really am not keen on parting the curtains to let in the sun/heat/light. It gets so hot!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I have another FO on my hands that I have yet to attach buttons to. Mainly because the wool is so scratchy and flakey that I hate to work with it especially in the heat. *Grumble grumble grumble*.
Hope the heat subsides soon so I can work on it!
