Bushfires

I’m back. From a hot and humid place to a dry and super hot place. Sigh. My luck with weather is sucky.

It was 43 degrees (Celsius, not Fahrenheit ok) and there is a huge bushfire near our house. It has been burning for a couple of days already.

I had to take a longer route home from work today. Almost got lost. But Nad’s coaching skills in navigation for the past year has paid off. I got home with no trouble at all and I didn’t even get lost! So proud of myself. * Beams* The smaller roads near my place were also blocked. Sigh.

I saw birds circling the air in desperation yesterday above the burnt bushland. Must be homeless birds. I felt so sorry and sad for them.

The fires were quite near peoples’ houses. The people there must be worried sick.

Right behind our backyard is also a bushland of sorts. I pray hard that nothing will happen to it.

Helicopter spraying CO2, I think.

Lord, please let the fires cease. Please watch over our household. Thank you Lord.

I just saw it on the news. Highest Christmas temperature there on record. I cannot imagine that heat that you have to put up with. I hope you and your family are safe. Take care ok.

P.S. Melbourne was rated the best city to live in the world! So clearly, I don’t know what I’m talking about. Hehe…
