The One About Some People

嫌いな人がある。

Since that’s the case, I shall write this post in Japanese.

無感情なばかやろう!

あたし あなたよりずっといい人だ。

Yucks. Makes me puke.

The One About Japanese Movies

One thing I noticed about Singapore nowadays….

Do you remember when Singapore used to be crazy over Japanese drama series? I cannot remember what started the craze. Every video shop I went to used to sell loads of J-Dorama box sets.

This week, I decided to buy Kimura Takuya’s プライード (PRIDE) boxset.

Guess what? NONE of the shops I went to carried J-Doramas. All of them only had Korean dramas.

I know PRIDE has been released aeons ago (i.e, 2 years ago). But I’m sure there are people who would take a longer time to decide whether to get it or not, right?

Sigh.

The wind blows and everybody follows blindly.

But that’s ok. I don’t like sharing my Kimura Takuya with many people. :P

I bought my copy online in Yahoo! auctions. Will recieve it in the mail soon I hope.

From tomorrow onwards, I’m working 6 days in a row. No me-time anymore. Sigh. Gonna be very tired again.

I added and changed a few things in there —————————->

Added a wishlist. It’s pretty short for now. But I’m sure it’d grow in no time. I’m a greedy girl.

The One About Movie Marathons

Have been having more free time lately, since I stopped tuition classes for a bit. And had most of the wedding stuff done (leaving some for Nad to do when he comes back of course).

Thus, I decided to indulge in watching movies in my free time!

For the past week, I’ve rented/ bought/ borrowed DVDs and VCDs or digging up old movies to watch.

Am really thinking of doing reviews for each and every movie I’ve watched since I came back from Australia. But that will have to wait a lil.

Making a list (not in any order):

  • Trainspotting
  • Ima, Ai Ni Yuki Masu/ Be With You
  • Desperate Housewives Season 1
  • Friends With Money
  • Eight Below
  • Rumour Has It
  • Dare Mo Shiranai/ Nobody Knows
  • Johnny and the Chocolate Factory
  • Chobits (Anime)
  • Brokeback Mountain
  • Helen the Baby Fox
  • The OH in Ohio

Ok I think thats about it. That’s alot isn’t it? Am on a ball!

It’s gonna be a long week ahead. I have to start tuition classes again and on top of that, one of my colleagues is taking a holiday. So I have to cover some night duties. I’m also working ‘extra’ to pay off the off-days I took. Plus, Nad is coming home soon! Yay!

People say the bride has to be slim and pretty. The ironic thing is, I’ve stopped exercising completely, stopped complaining that I was fat and also stopped dieting.

I don’t feel the urge to be slimmer anymore. Probably given up. If I am destined to be fat, then so be it. Ha ha ha.

Another good thing is I think I’ve managed to sleep off the fatigue quite a bit. I slept for 16 hours on two of my off-days. I think that’s quite a feat. The bad thing is, I get very very bad runny noses on my off-days. Happened quite a few times. I’m wondering why it doesn’t happen on my work days. I could use a medical leave. But nah, I always feel really apologetic when I have to report sick. Because I know how hard my other colleagues would have to work when one person is not around. It’s too tiring for them.

I had KFC for dinner with Mom and Lulu today. Home delievery. Growing sideways. Now I’m about to drink fish with papaya soup my Dad made for supper. And I have a tub of Ben and Jerry’s Chocolate fudge ice cream in the freezer. And more episodes of Chobits.

Here’s to a fatty wedding. Cheers!

The One About Results

Was just looking through my old secondary school report book and reminiscing about the old times when I used to sleep in class, act like a weirdo (no wait.. I WAS a weirdo!), pretend I didn’t study but in actuality, I studied my arse off etc…

As you can see, I wasn’t pleased with my results all along.

I’m wondering if I can get into vet school. With all the straight aces other kids are getting, who am I to compete with them?

Sigh.

Besides, I have no science background at all.

I guess I’ll have to work double-ly hard.

I do miss going to school. I loved school life more than I love working life (duh).

I can’t believe it. In 3 months time, everything will be different. In 3 months, there will be no animal potties in the same room I sleep in! (Jan calls my room a ‘shit-hole’). Yes, I sleep with Kelly’s pee tray, Na-chan’s (long term boarder) pee tray, Benji and Chiyo’s pee tray in the same room. And when I say ‘pee’, it includes the ‘poop’ too.

It’s not the best arrangement. But I get by. Only because I love them so much, I wanna smell their waste.

The One About Things Looking Up

I’ve got a little more off days now and have been sleeping in alot. Like clocking 16 hours a day on the bed. :D

Feel a lil’ happier now. Not so lethargic.

The rains have come and it’s rather cooling nowadays. Thank God. I hate the heat.

I just watched a Japanese Movie on VCD. One that my Japanese friend lent me aeons ago.

The title is 『いま、会いにゆきます』。

The show suited the general mood now. Coz it’s also the rainy season in the movie. I watched the movie while it was rainy heavily. Sleeping makes my vocab shrink a hell lot.

Here’s a very good review on the movie with screenshots.
I cried buckets since the start of the movie all the way to the end. :( What a sobfest.

It’s really one of the rare ones that cover their story’s loopholes. A very very good fairy tale.

Now I’m looking for songs to play for the wedding.

Mostly anime songs. >.<

That’s us. Nad and Inori. The anime couple.
