The One About Inori

Oftentimes, I daydream………….Ok, lemme rephrase that…..

ALL the time, I daydream about how Nad would propose to me.

Scene 1 – At a posh restaurant.

Inori and Nad are having candlelight dinner. Nad is wearing a suit and tie. Inori is wearing an elegant black dress. They are chatting, eating, joking etc….

SUDDENLY….

Nad kneels down and whips out a HUGE ASS DIAMOND RING THAT BLINDS EVERYBODY IN THE ROOM FOR A FEW SECONDS as if they just went through Lasik surgery.

Nad: “Will you marry me?”

Inori (acting surprised): “What are you doing??? Get up!!!”

Nad: “Will you marry me?”

Inori: “I…….. well, get up first!”

Nad: “I won’t until you say you will marry me.”

Inori: “………….. okay…… I will marry you…”

At this point, everyone in the restaurant gets up, applaudes and some even shed a few tears….
Okay, I can understand if Nad is shy and doesn’t want to kneel in front of everyone… A trip to the beach for a stroll under the moonlight is also okay. He still has to kneel down though…. But there won’t be many people around to be blinded by the diamond.

Or,

he could propose to me at my workplace. Taking everyone by surprise. (Also by kneeling down and producing a huge ass diamond ring.)

Or,

he could… erm……. do like what James Lye did… Tie the huge ass diamond ring on one of my dogs’ or cat’s or lobster’s or rat’s neck and tell them to bring it to me. (I don’t know how he can do it with the lobster or rat or even the cat though…)

Or,

Make pasta/sushi/pastry etc and hide the huge ass diamond ring into my portion…. Errr… that would mean it would get dirty… no no no…. scrap that…

Or,

I don’t know!!! Something romantic! Something I will remember for life!

But one thing I’m very sure that he would get rejected, is to tell me,

“Let’s apply for HDB flat.”

DEHHHH!!! Wrong answer. Fail. Dump.

NAAADDDD… I’M STILL WAITINNNNGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGG!!!!!!!!!
